前置詞 at・on・in

「机の上」「机の下」「机のそば」など、的確な場所を示すのに使われるのが前置詞です。

また、曜日や時間などにも使われます。

よく使う前置詞一覧をまとめましたので、しっかりと覚えましょう。

時間や場所に使う前置詞一覧

前置詞	例
at ～（狭い場所）で、ちょうど～時に	at the kitchen, at 3:00 pm
on ～（曜日・接触場所）に	on Sunday, on the table
in ～（年月・季節・広い場所）に	in May, in summer, in Tokyo
before ～の前に	before summer, before dinner
after ～の後に	after summer, after you
until ～までずっと	until morning, until yesterday
during ～の（期間）中	during summer, during Christmas
by ～（日時）まで、～のそば	by tomorrow, by next month, by the window
under ～の下	under the table, under the tree
near ～の近く	near the table, near the tree
between ～の間	between Monday and Wednesday

I bought this book at the station.
（この本駅で買ったんだ）

I saw you at the station.
（君を駅で見かけたよ）

I will see you on Monday.
（月曜に会おうね）

I will see you at 3:00 pm on Monday.
（月曜の3時に会おうね）

I will see you again in May.
（5月にまた会おうね）

（来月東京行くよ）

（お昼まで寝ちゃった）
tillはuntillの省略形で同じ意味。

I studied English until late at night.
（夜遅くまで英語勉強しちゃった）

I saw Tom during my travels.
（旅行中トムに会ったよ）

I met him twice during the week.
（1週間に2回彼に会ったよ）

I will be there by 8:30.
（8:30までに行くからね）

There was a cat under the bridge.
（橋の下に猫がいたよ）

The bookstore is near the station.
（本屋さんは駅の近くです）

I will be here between Christmas and New Year's.
（クリスマスからお正月の期間はここにいるよ）
