前置詞 at・on・in
「机の上」「机の下」「机のそば」など、的確な場所を示すのに使われるのが前置詞です。
また、曜日や時間などにも使われます。

時間や場所に使う前置詞一覧

(月曜に会おうね)I will see you at 3:00 pm on Monday.
(月曜の3時に会おうね)I will see you again in May.
(5月にまた会おうね)I will be in Tokyo next month.
(来月東京行くよ)I will see you before I leave.
(出発前に会おうね)I will see you after 10 days.
(10日後に会おう)I slept until noon.
(お昼まで寝ちゃった)
tillはuntillの省略形で同じ意味。I studied English until late at night.
(夜遅くまで英語勉強しちゃった)I saw Tom during my travels.
(旅行中トムに会ったよ)I met him twice during the week.
(1週間に2回彼に会ったよ)I will be there by 8:30.
(8:30までに行くからね)There was a cat under the bridge.
(橋の下に猫がいたよ)The bookstore is near the station.
(本屋さんは駅の近くです)I will be here between Christmas and New Year's.
